EXSP 8121 Building Effective Organizations

Description:

You will learn about organizational systems and learning organizations in a way that introduces a perspective of people, groups, and organizations in a system format. By the end of the course you will better understand yourself and each other through the use of Myers/Briggs psychological type theory. We will also develop effective group behaviors using group dynamics theory, identify individual management styles using Situational Leadership theory, understand and utilize facilitation preventions, interventions and applications. In addition, we will review Total Quality Management theory and application using a group process. You will learn through the use of lecture, instruments, structured experiences, and a consciously created positive learning environment.
